Common questions
- Do I need an account?
- No. Core prep tools — workbench, local corpus, FSRS drilling — work without signing in. Sign in when you want cloud sync or Pro features.
- Where is my data stored?
- Collections and repertoire stay in your browser until you choose to upload. Signed-in users can sync to cloud storage secured by Clerk.
- How do I share a position?
- Use Board → Copy position link in the workbench. Anyone opening that URL loads the same FEN in FlexiChess.
- What is Pro?
- Pro adds AI game commentary, collaboration sessions, and expanded cloud storage. See /pricing for details.
- How do I cancel Pro?
- Manage billing from your account profile or the Stripe customer portal linked there.
